✅ Approved Supplement List

(Optional Guidance for Members)

A Gentle Note Before We Begin

This list exists to reduce confusion—not create obligation.

Supplements at Fine Tuning Fitness™ are optional tools, used thoughtfully to support the foundations you’re already building through movement, nourishment, hydration, sleep, and recovery.

If you are not taking supplements, you are not behind.
If supplements are appropriate, we keep them simple, clean, and purposeful.

Our Standards (Why These Brands)

All supplements listed here meet our non-negotiables:

  • Third-party tested

  • Clinician-grade formulations

  • Transparent labeling (no proprietary blends)

  • Free from artificial dyes, flavors, and sweeteners

  • Not owned or controlled by Nestlé or Nestlé Health Science

Consistency and tolerance matter more than variety.

How Supplements Are Accessed

Fine Tuning Fitness™ uses Fullscript, a professional practitioner dispensary that provides members access to high-quality supplements at discounted pricing.

As a credentialed nutrition coach, Fine Tuning Fitness™ may receive a small practitioner margin on purchases.
Recommendations are made based on quality, safety, and individual fit—not financial incentives.

🔹 Foundational Supplements

(Most common starting point — if anything is used)

🧂 Magnesium (Foundational)

Form: Bisglycinate

Used for:
• Sleep support
• Muscle tension and cramping
• Stress regulation and recovery

Default choice:
Thorne Magnesium Bisglycinate

✔ NSF / GMP
✔ Gentle and well-tolerated

Timing: Evening

This is the primary magnesium used at Fine Tuning Fitness™.

⚡ Magnesium (Situational Support)

Form: Malate

Used for:
• Fatigue
• Muscle soreness
• Daytime energy support

Brand used:
Designs for Health Magnesium Malate

Timing: Daytime

Added only when there is a clear need.

⭐️ Bisglycinate is the foundation; malate is situational

🌾 Fiber (Daily, Gentle, Clinically Studied)

Used for:
• Digestive regularity
• Blood sugar balance
• Inflammation support
• Sleep quality

Default choice:
Sunfiber (PHGG)

Timing: Morning or midday
Important: Always pair fiber with adequate water.

🔹 As-Needed Support

(Added only when there is a clear reason)

Fatigue or Muscle Soreness

Option: Magnesium Malate
Brand used: Designs for Health
Timing: Daytime

Gut Support (General)

Option: Spore-based probiotic
Brand used: Microbiome Labs

Sensitive or Histamine-Reactive Systems

Option: Histamine-aware probiotic
Brand used: Seeking Health

🦠 Approved Add-On: Gut Support

🌱Prebiotic (Foundational)

  • PHGG fiber (Sunfiber)

  • Supports beneficial bacteria

  • Often enough on its own

🦠Probiotic (As Needed)

  • Microbiome Labs – spore-based (general resilience)

  • Seeking Health – histamine-aware (sensitive systems)

⚠️We do not add probiotics unless digestion, hydration, and fiber intake are already addressed.

❄️Seasonal Support: Vitamin C

Used for:

  • Immune support during winter

  • Recovery during periods of stress

Form preferred:

  • Buffered or whole-food-based vitamin C

Brand examples:

  • Thorne

  • Designs for Health

⚠️More is not better. Vitamin C is supportive, not protective.

❄️Seasonal / Situational Support: Vitamin D

Used for:

  • Immune support

  • Bone and muscle health

  • Low sun exposure months

Important Notes (this matters):

  • Vitamin D is fat-soluble

  • Long-term use should be discussed with a healthcare provider

  • Blood testing is recommended when possible

Brand examples:

  • Thorne

  • Designs for Health

⚠️Vitamin D supplementation should be individualized. We recommend discussing long-term use and dosing with your healthcare provider.

🧂 Trace Minerals

(Optional / Situational Support)

Purpose:
Fill subtle gaps — not “fix” deficiencies.

Trace minerals are needed in very small amounts and support quiet but important functions such as enzyme activity, immune balance, and nerve signaling.
More is not better.

When Trace Minerals May Be Appropriate

• Long history of a limited or highly processed diet
• Low appetite or low food variety
• Adequate hydration, but lingering low energy
• Seniors who do not tolerate multivitamins well

This is considered background support — not a corrective supplement.

Approved Option

Default choice:
Thorne Pic-Mins

✔ Low-dose, balanced trace mineral formula
✔ No megadoses
✔ No iron or copper overload
✔ NSF / GMP manufactured

Important Guardrails

⚠️ Trace minerals are not intended to be taken alongside a multivitamin
⚠️ We avoid high-dose single minerals unless directed by a healthcare provider
⚠️ Pause use if digestion, sleep, or symptoms worsen

→ If you’re unsure, it’s okay to skip this entirely.

What We Intentionally Do Not Do

  • No large supplement stacks

  • No rotating brand lists

  • No condition-specific treatment claims

  • No pressure to purchase

If a supplement is not listed here, it is not essential to your progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need supplements to succeed here?
No. Supplements are supportive—not foundational.

Can I use supplements I already have?
Often yes. Quality, dosing, and tolerance matter more than brand names.

Why don’t you recommend many brands?
Because simplicity improves consistency and reduces reactions.

A Final Reminder

Your body is adapting—not failing.
Support should feel calming, not complicated.

Movement, nourishment, hydration, rest, and connection do more than any capsule.
